The first and original celestial beings to live in Syzygy directly created from stardust and constellations by Mark and Armitage. The Cosmics once shared miniscule amounts of power within the island, but that has since died out.
Syzygyn are the generation centuries after The Cosmics, characterized by being born after The First Winter. They were pivotal for shaping the island of Amani for the future. Queen Amani is the last of the true Syzygyn.
Amanians are mortal descendants of the Syzygyn, born after Amani became queen. They have a heightened sense of intuition for the land and are physically resilient. They are protective of their land.
Xotet have unknown origins. They are monstrous, chaotic creatures characterized by their resemblance to wild animals. Highly destructive, they are threats to the island and seek to invade it to twist the magic for their own gain. They can have a range of abilities depending on the species they embody, such as extreme speed, enhanced strength, shadow manipulation and possession.
An evolved form of Xotet. The Anofao inherit the capabilities of their kin in addition to being able to wield magic similarly to Amani. There are only a few in the world, but they are differentiated through their more human-like body and dietary limitation to raw meat. If you look closely, however, there are flaws to their imitative body structure, such as fang misplacement and body markings. The Anofao have exclusive abilities, such as poison control.
A species of enchanted owl in Amani Island. They are gigantic in size with differing colors depending on their province of origin. They are primarily used for quick transportation. Only those it bonds with can ride them, however. They can communicate through visions if they are being touched, and are capable of defending against dark creatures like the Xotet.
